Pre-discharge Bankruptcy Education Course

What is Pre-discharge Bankruptcy Education Course?

Consumer Protection Association is approved to issue certificates evidencing completion of a personal financial management instructional course in compliance with the bankruptcy code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of a provider’s services.

Our pre-discharge bankruptcy educational course will be completed in our classroom with one of our knowledgeable educators to offer you personal guidance and assistance.

Second Chance is a, self-guided educational textbook that will cover a variety of financial topics to help you better understand the basics of money management, budgeting, and using credit wisely. The course is designed to meet the two (2) hour debtor education requirement set by the EOUST. If you are filing bankruptcy with a spouse or partner, you must each complete the program separately in order to receive your individual certificates of completion.

When registering, you will need your Social Security number, your bankruptcy case number, and if applicable, your attorney information. The course is designed to meet the two (2) hour debtor education requirement set by the EOUST.
